Laura A. Cross joined Bleakley, Cypher, Parent, Warren & Quinn, P.C. in November of 2016. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.  In her career, she exclusively counsels and defends employers, carriers, and Third-Party Administrators on workers’ compensation matters throughout the state of Michigan. She is a regular presenter and speaker of Michigan case law updates and other topics related to workers’ compensation defense matters.

Laura received her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in May of 2016. While in law school, she served as a law clerk for a commercial litigation firm and externed at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She was awarded a fellowship at the Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer, a legal aid clinic focused on providing legal assistance to low income patients of Karmanos Cancer Center.

Laura received her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Culture and Political Science from the University of Michigan. She then worked for a property and casualty insurance company for several years as a claims adjuster.

Laura and her husband welcomed their son in August of 2019. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and swimming.
